I have overlooked some messages in the start-up.

This is probably related, from the messages file

This is directly after upgrading for Solaris 7 to 8.

When I create a new mount-point, I get the same problem.

vxfs mount: /dev/vx/dsk/san404dg/d02 is not a vxfs file system.

I know volume manager is working fine because:

> zactomut404 [/] # newfs /dev/vx/rdsk/san404dg/d02
newfs: construct a new file system /dev/vx/rdsk/san404dg/d02: (y/n)? y

> zactomut404 [/] # mount /dev/vx/dsk/san404dg/d02 /mnt

Thanx!

Usually when I get an error like "XXXX is not a vxfs file system" it means
I need to fsck the volume. However today it doesn't work, it tells me the
file-system is clean.

Does anybody know what gives?
