I have 2 E3500's. I want to take all 8 FC disks in one E3500 and move them
to the other E3500...(same slots)
The /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 is the boot disk and running solaris 2.6.
After moving the drives to the other E3500 the system will not boot. It
will boot up into single user (maintenance mode) only requesting that
the /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 needs to be fsck. Actually, the drives and
filesystems are ok. I believe the issue is that I need to somehow
reconfig the kernel or hw info (path_to_inst) to boot it on the different
E3500.
Does anyone have a procedure written describing exactly what I need to
modify ...as the 2 E3500's are slightly different.
Any help would be appreciated.
