Hi Managers,
I am facing problem while installing the GCC. I have downloaded the source,
but when i try to execute ./configure i am getting the following message.
Please help me how do i goahead with installing compiler.
#./configure
Configuring for a sparc-sun-solaris2.8 host.
*** This configuration is not supported in the following subdirectories:
target-libffi target-boehm-gc target-zlib target-libjava
(Any other directories should still work fine.)
Created "Makefile" in /export/home/ramesh/gcc-3.0 using "mh-frag"
./configure: cc: not found
*** The command 'cc -o conftest -g conftest.c' failed.
*** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.
