Hi all,
Case History: OS 2.8 /Volume Manager 3.0.4
              Hardware : E10k
              Root Disk : Unipack (Mirrored)
              Data Disk : T3 volumes
Problem : Vxconfid daemon dies all of sudden.
vxdctl enable command gives " Internal Confiuration
error"
Volumes do not start automatically after reboot
          reboot -r /devfsadm changes the device id's..c0t0d0
shows s0,etc in the format command
the controller id's are diff in format and vmsa output

Pls advice....OS/VXVM reinstallation is the last option

I thought of removing the /etc/path_to_inst and doing a boot -a
,but i think this will corrupt the Volume Mngr...

Prashant
