Hi Team:
We are having 1 NIS master and 3 Slaves. We want to
work out a solution for a case where if the NIS master
is hard down we need to make one of the SLAVE as the
NIS master, so that we would be able to add users. we
run our own script to add users and also we do not
want to add users to /etc/passwd. Can some help to
list the steps for making one of the 3 slaves as NIS
master and also the steps to consider when the
used-to-be-master is UP. Thanks in advance.
