I rescently purchase a Sun Fire V100. This is my first adventure into the
world of Solaris. I have install Solaris 9 with only the core packages. Once
the unit is booted up the cdrom will not work and I have tried manually
mounting it. When you attempt to manually mount the cd it says "mount:
/vol/dev/dsk/c0t3d0 not a block device". I tried adding on the Sun Volume
Manager and Automounter packages and setting them up and still no luck. I am
quite sure this is very basic any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
