We tried a hard reboot, the box couldn't come back.
After we called SUN support, it ended up was a failed
power supply which dragged down the system.

Thanks again !

Dear Guru:

Have anyone seen this before ?
All of sudden, lots of basic commands just can't be run.

root> ps
ps: cannot execute

root>hostname
hostname: cannot execute

root>dmesg
dmesg: cannot execute

root>cat messages.0
cat: cannot read messages.0: No such device or address

Platform: Sun Solaris 5.8 E4500
