Managers,
We are attempting to create a new resource in a Sun Cluster
3.0 environment. The resource is for an iPlanet 5.1 directory server.
The agent for the directory server is SUNW.nsldap. The command we are
using is:
scrgadm -a -j nsldap5_1 -t SUNW.nsldap -g nsldap-rg \
-x Condir_list=/global/nsldap/ids5/slapd-ldap \
-y Resource_dependencies=hastorage_ldap \
-y Port_list=389/tcp
We are getting the following error:
"VALIDATE method failed. Check syslog for error messages."
Question: is the VALIDATE method a method that is called from the
SUNW.nsldap agent, or is it something that is specific to the iPlanet
directory server.
Thanks in advance.
Darryl
