Hi,
I hv a Dlink modem connected to my E250 running solaris2.6.The
modem is configured via admintool as BIDIRECTIONAL.The entries in
/etc/remote and /etc/inittab are chosen to be 9600.
Now if I dial some no , I am able to connect , but when someone
dials-in , the modem is not able to pick the ring and does not do
handshaking.Whereas If I connect the same modem to other Windows
based machine, It picks the ring.
modem is connected to SUN via straight through cable.
Please suggest.
