An issue with OS provisioning using N1 System Manager

Hello gurus,

After much trial and error I got PXE to do what it was designed to do. So
now I can install any of my X2200s in the network off my install server viia
dhcp. It's neat and cool once you got it to work. I am a little bit more
ambitious than that so I started to put every thing together using the N1
System manager which I read gives you more control and has other good
features like integrating a flash archive into the OS profile and allowing
you to control and manage your servers from a single station. The install
and configuration on an X2200 is somewhat flaky according to what I've seen.
For example the scs-db process fails to start on any reboot. I have to
ultimately start up the database manually. From the looks of it this process
is essential to OS provisioning and the likes.

The problem I face is something to do with OS provisioning using N1System
Manager on X2200 machines. I was able to use n1sh to create an OS profile.
However when I do a

n1sh load server <server> osprofile <osprofile> networktype=static
ip=xx.xx.xx.xx networkdevice=bge0 console=ttyb baud=9600

as was suggested in the documentation, I do see that it tries to install the
OS on the server. I can see it connects to the dhcp server and I see the
initial flash screen about the OS install from the menu.lst file. However,
when I hit a return button at this point the console brings up a series of
dots ........................... and hangs here.

I am sure its not able to get the right combination of cosole baud rate and
the output seems to dissappear to nowhere. As I remember in my previous
bouts with PXE boot and the dhcp server setup, I could recover from a
similar position by setting the right values for "-B
console=ttyb,ttyb-mode=115200,8,n,1- . However when using N1 System Manager,
I have no idea where such information have to be given except in the "load
server" command above. I tried to several combination of console= and baud=
values all yielding nothing. Could someone point me in the right direction.
Perhaps to where control files for pxe boot are stored in the N1 System
Manager.

Thanks in advance

-sg
