rsh on solaris 10

I need to enable rsh on solaris 10 to appy a e1000g0 interface patch, I noticed the following line is missing in pam.conf. It may be something to do with rsh is not working, after adding the following line in pam.conf refreshed inetd but rsh is still "permission denied"
   
  rlogin auth sufficient pam_rhosts_auth.so.1
   
  Any suggestions.
