cups password under Solaris

Hi all,

we are running cups on a Solaris 10 11/06 machine and can access the
web-interface via http://localhost:631 with the Solaris root account. I
now would like to create an account admin with a different password to
let non-system-admin-users start and stop print queues. I issued

        /opt/sfw/cups/bin/lppasswd -g sys -a admin

and got a corresponding entry in /opt/sfw/cups/etc/cups/passwd.md5.
However, logging in using this account into the web-interface does not
work. What am I missing?

Thanks a lot,

    Andreas
