I have a server that has 2 Emulex cards (10k) in a Sun server (on a PCI slot 1 & 2 ) running Solaris 10 (upd 4), connected to a EMC array. I think the Emulex driver is supplied by Sun (in Solaris 10); so the server sees the card automatically without installing any Emulex driver. I use both cards to provide dual paths to the EMC storage using Veritas volume manager.
How do I disable/disconnect/unconfigure 1 of the 2 Emulex cards from Solaris? (I don't want to physically disconnect the HBA fiber cable) as I operate from a remote location from the data center.
Is there a Solaris command (such as cfgadm) to allow you to do that?
Thanks,
TM
