I have a Sun Fire E4800 server which is failing to boot with the following error message " Can't open boot device".

It was working fine until it started complaining about too many processes, then it said the PSU temperature was too high (66 degrees- Sun documentation says it can operate well up to 94 degrees).

I am not sure whether all this contributed to the above problem. Now I can't boot the server with alternate disks from the default booot disk or other disks (there are two disks). Trying to boot with the other disk gives me the same error message.

How do I resolve this issue?
