Hello Sunmanagers,
Veritas v5.0 has a new feature that allows you to import disk groups
containg cloned disks, with the command below but I get the following
error message.
bash-3.00# vxdisk list
DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
Disk_0 auto:cdsdisk hecdg01 hecdg online nohotuse
Disk_1 auto:cdsdisk hecdg02 hecdg online nohotuse
Disk_2 auto:cdsdisk hecdg03 hecdg online nohotuse

Disk_4 auto:cdsdisk - - online udid_mismatch
Disk_5 auto:cdsdisk - - online udid_mismatch
EMC_CLARiiON0_0 auto:none - - online invalid

bash-3.00# vxdg -o useclonedev=on import hecdg
VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-10978 Disk group hecdg: import failed:
License has expired or is not available for operation
Does anyone know what type of license is needed for this option?
