Hello:
I added a disk on D1000 which is connected to a Solaris Cluster 3.2. I can see the disk from both nodes, but its DID is d27 on one and d28 on the other.
...
DID Device Name: /dev/did/rdsk/d27
  Full Device Path: d1:/dev/rdsk/c1t13d0
  Replication: none
  default_fencing: global

DID Device Name: /dev/did/rdsk/d28
  Full Device Path: a1:/dev/rdsk/c5t13d0
  Replication: none
  default_fencing: global

I issued # cldevice populate from both nodes:
a1#: cldevice populate
cldevice: (C761241) Path "jumpserva1k.smsnet.com:/dev/rdsk/c5t13d0" and device ID are inconsistent for instances "d27" and "d28".

But on node d1, it does not show such error.
Please advice.
O/S: Solaris 10.
Cluster: 3.2
Thanks
Warren
