Hi,

We are purchasing a new sun server (T5220) and are trying to decide
with storage system to get. Here (**)are the
two storage configurations that we are looking at. The first one
(2540 plus expansion) will give us 5.1 TB only, but
the disks will be faster ....The second one will be 16 TB, but the
disks will be the SATA disks which are slower...However, I'm looking
at the cache numbers and the 2540 is 2x512mb, while the 6140 is
2x2gb......This will be our primary storage..., so it needs to be
fast, dependable, reliable, etc... I'm having the hardest time trying
to decide and any help (pros?, cons? , comments?) will be GREATLY
appreciated.

Thanks....
