Does anyone know of a way of checking the validity of a ZFS pool
without trying to import it? For 10u4 patched up to date, if that
matters.
Failing this, does anyone know of a set of options which will allow
you to import a possibly damaged pool without causing the box to panic?
(I simply can not believe that it is possible that Sun have designed
ZFS in such a way that "zpool import" can panic the system by
default. How is anyone meant to use ZFS in that case?)
