Hello, I have a V440 which is having disk issues. Wondering if someone might
be able to give tell me if the disk 2 is completely failed or there is a
work around?

I can manually force it to identify the disk as type SUN3 6G and then I can
still read the layout. but, when i try to format, i get the following.
