Dear managers,
I need to restore a specific file from tape. When I do
/usr/sbin/ufsrestore t /BlobService/SF490_eff_c86ef12_36
I get
892229 ./BlobService/SF490_eff_c86ef12_36
so there is a file with length 892229 on tape. When I now do
cd /Carrier
/usr/sbin/ufsrestore x /BlobService/SF490_eff_c86ef12_36
You have not read any volumes yet.
Unless you know which volume your file(s) are on you should start
with the last volume and work towards the first.
Specify next volume #: 1
set owner/mode for '.'? [yn] y
Directories already exist, set modes anyway? [yn] y
ls -l /Carrier/BlobService/SF490_eff_c86ef12_36
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 548864 Jan 25 16:52
/Carrier/BlobService/SF490_eff_c86ef12_36
How can that be? Shouldn't this file have a length of 892229 now? What
am I missing?
Thanks,
Andreas
