Unlock PGR on Storage LUNs

Dear Sunmanagers,

I'm having with locked LUNs on a Sun system. Apparently these LUNs were recycled from a system with VCS and the PGR reservation is blocking their use. We used unlock by allocating these luns to a system running VCS but is that the only Solution or is there any other quick work around.?
