Ok, thanks a lot for all the answers. Now I know that is:5:initdefault
sets up run level to 5 and makes the system power-off (it works for linux
thought), and that the script that starts up the system is
/etc/rc2.d/S99dtlogin. Also about doing /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e.
I have this script right, I think, the problem is that I get this
message:
"Can't stop any listenning sockets. Make sure X-server is not already
running"
I think this could be because I usually use vnc sessions and I might
have sessions hanged, really don't know, but I think it could be related.
Any ideas about this?

Hi all!
I'm trying to startup X-Windows on boot, by writing on the /etc/inittab
is:5:initdefault: instead of
is:3:initdefault.
I was told this is the way to do it, but what I got was that on boot
the machine comes down and stops againg.
Do you know how to do this safetly?
