Restarting SCSI array.

Hi all-
   
   We have a StorEdge 3000 scsi array that's connected to sun sparc server. Since the LEDs are blinking and beeping, we are thingking of restarting the array. Can anyone tell me what commands to run before turning on/off the power switches of the array?
