 running solaris 8 on a v1280 with netbackup storage migrator 5.0

I have unmanaged all the files and then the migrd request daemon died
and will not start backup.

Before rebooting an essential server, I was wondering if anyone out
there has any ideas of what is going on.

You need this daemon to start the GUI to verify that all the volumes and
tapes etc... Are correct.

Yes you can do it by command , but it is a chore.
