Remapping Unsupported on booter error on my Solaris 10 X86 server

Hi fellow admins,

I have been having a nagging trouble booting my Dell Intel Solaris 10 6/06
x86 box ever since it went down on a power failure. When I try to boot it
normally it comes up with the error:

"Remapping unsupported in booter" right after the grub splash screen.

Sensing that the boot-archive might be corrupted, I could boot it in
fail_safe mode. It mounts the root part partition on /a. When I do:

bootadm update-archive -v -R /a it comes up with:

/a/etc/devices/mdi_ib_cache: no such file. I do not think it has updated
anything. When I reboot with:

reboot -- -r it comes up with the same error. I look forward to any
clues/hints/suggestions/help from you. Thanks in advance and I will
summarize.
