I've got a V245 which I powered down this morning. Upon powering it back up,
the server wouldn't boot. Connecting to the serial management port, I can see
the ALOM repeatedly starting to boot but failing. In the middle I see an "{0}
OK" prompt, but I can't type into it as the ALOM just steps in the way and
reboots itself.
My guess is that the ALOM is broken and I suspect I need to re-flash it -
which you can't do without an O/S running on the box. Right now, I don't care
about the ALOM, I just want to get the box to boot up.
Is there anyway way (fair or foul) to get the machine to actually boot into
the O/S?
Thanks,
GTG
