Tip failure

A bit baffled, I need to tip into our raid today to get some info and
troubleshoot,
However after hardware moved some equipment, I can no longer tip into my
raid.

I reconnected the serial cable from my v440 to the Raid.
Checked the /etc/remote file

Everything looks fine
# tip raid
Connected

Then nothing it just hangs----I expect to get the menu to allow me to
check the system,
But nothing lets me in
~c
~t

What am I missing?
Couldn't find any docs or in FAQ.
