Thanks all!

I will try a few of the suggestions, probably starting with the following:

http://stuartmoore.wordpress.com/2006/05/24/how-to-mirror-your-boot-disks-on-the-sun-t2000/

Forgot to post the following along with the stuff in my previous e-mail:

# format
Searching for disks...done

AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
       0. c0t0d0 <SUN72G cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 424>
          /pci@780/pci@0/pci@9/scsi@0/sd@0,0
       1. c0t1d0 <SUN72G cyl 14087 alt 2 hd 24 sec 424>
          /pci@780/pci@0/pci@9/scsi@0/sd@1,0
Specify disk (enter its number):

# raidctl
Controller: 0
        Disk: 0.0.0
        Disk: 0.1.0
# raidctl -C "0.0.0 0.1.0" -r 1 0
Creating RAID volume will destroy all data on spare space of member disks, proceed (yes/no)? yes
Array in use.

# raidctl -c c0t0d0 c0t1d0
Creating RAID volume will destroy all data on spare space of member disks, proceed (yes/no)? yes
Array in use.

Subject: Re: T2000 - raidctl - how to?

Hi Mike,
Welcome to the catch 22 world of hardware raid on a t2000.
The command to use to mirror the drive, once the system is booted is
/usr/sbin/raidctl -c cXtXdX cYtYdY
Do not give the slice number.
Now here is the bad part, depending on what raid chip you have, you may

end up wiping out whatever data is on the drives as the newer
controllers change the disk geometry. If you only have two drives in
your system you are pretty much stuck.
Running raidctl will warn you that if you continue you will destry data

if it is a newer controller.
How many drives do you have in the system?
