Dear all,

I had to recover a svr running solaris 8 with SVM. In the preocess i
had to rename the originally created vfstab and the /etc/system. Now
since i have recovered the data on the disks and created the metadb
i'm confused as to how to go about:
doing metainit.
Should i change anything in the svr to reflcet the boot device mirror?.
Should i remark most of the entries in the /etc/system and reboot ?.
can i just do metainit -a and reboot ?
should i run metaroot command again ?
What happens when i bring the partitions under volume manager control
and allow it to re-sync?. Will the data in the secondary disk be lost?

The /etc/system and the md.tab files are recovered from tape and the
secondary disk.

Thanks in advance
