Hi,
We have a Solaris 9 on SPARC platform. This morning the system became
unresponsive. I had to do a hard boot to bring back the system. Now I am
trying to find out what caused the system crash. However, the
/var/adm/messages didn't get any error messages. All the messages in
/var/adm/messages were just a few hard errors from Monday and the messages
from this morning when I booted the system. No disks went into maintenance
mode (metastat didn't show anything in maintenance mode). I didn't see any
error when I ran the prtdiag command. I've been seeing a disk throwing a few
hard errors since September but the number is not high (under 30). Any
feedback would be appreciated!
