Hi All,

We have got a problem while taking tar backup. Command
given for the backup was.

tar cvfb - 20 * | rsh hostname dd of=/usr/sysadm/test.tar obs=20b

This was given from the path where the data files are there for the database.
While taking the backup ^C was given to abort the backup. I wonder how the
file size changed ? .While starting the database it gave the error saying that
"file size is not the multiple of logical block size".
Now as the database is not able to mount because of the change in *.dbf file
size.
Can anyone please tell me if anything can be done to restore the size of the
file back to the original, so the database can be started without any
problem.

Thanks & Regards
Mangesh
