How to use ssh to connect to remote server

Hello Managers,

I need to connect to a remote server which allows only ssh ,
i have ssh installed in the allowed server .

i tried ssh -L 22:allowd host:23076 remote host .
It doesn't seem to work .

Any body used it before pls help.
