Hi,
   
  I am getting below messages in /var/adm/messages file.
   
  Oct 25 12:05:56 xxxxx /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx: [ID xxxxx daemon.error] Agent snmpd appeared dead but responded to ping

Oct 25 12:05:48 xxxxx /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx: [ID xxxx daemon.error] error while receiving a pdu from localhost.32789: Decode the header of the variables failed: asn length too long
   
  Can you please help me out in getting out of the errors and the steps for the same.
