We recently put a brand new Sun Fire T2000 with Solaris 10 on our
network along with a Sun Fire X4500. The two machines are on the same
subnet. On the X4500, I can ssh to it from anywhere. On the T2000, I
can only ssh to it from the same subnet. When I try to ssh to it from
a different subnet with the ssh client in verbose mode, I get the
following error message:
debug1: Miscellaneous failure
No credentials cache found
The server with the ssh that works also gives this error, but then it
goes onto request a password. From the server that doesn't work, I
can also sftp and ssh to a server on another subnet.
Both servers have Sun_SSH_1.1 configured out of the box, with the
only change being to disallow root log-ins.
How can I fix this problem?
