Flash Archive validation

 Hi,
I am setting up a cron script to perform a periodic Flash Archive of a
system. The archive is named including the creation date e.g.
/backup_location/devHost_15-10-07-11:19.far.
I am using a jumpstart profile file for the server being backed up. The
full path of the location of the flash archive is stored in this profile
file, this is a plain text file.
I would like this profile to be updated with the new filename of the most
recent flash archive automatically on successful completion, but only on
successful completion of a flash archive.
Is there a way of validating a flash archive and determining whether it
fully completed without any unexpected termination of the flarcreate
command?
The "flar info" command does not seem to tell me this.
Regards.
Nik.
