Hi,
I have several system running Solaris Sparc 09/05 however not all the info in the
/etc/release file is the same. Does anyone have an explanation for the additional
fields in the release file that are different between these 2 systems. I always
thought that the specific hardware release never changed. In this case it appears
that a new 09/05 release was cut.
I am having a problem with system # 2 and I am trying to determine if the
Solaris release might be the issue. They are patched using the same cluster system
#1 loads 2 patches , system # 2 loads 52 patches
Thanks,
Steve
