PANIC ERROR

Hi

I came across a situation where the system is panicking and causing it to go
through reboots.
During hard reboot the system goes through extensive POST and the POST passed
all the devices and memory. when it starts booting, at a point where it says

sys configuring IPv4 interface:
bge0ifconfig: poms01s-vip: bad address
bge0:1 bge1
Hostname: poms01s
setting up paths
panic [cpu0]/thread=300040f0820:
BAD TRAP: type=31 rp=2a10069f7d0
and so on...
.......
......
fsck: trap type = 0x31
addr = 0xex4c68
pid=158, pc = 0x109247c

syncing file system
dumping to /dev/md/dsk/d1
dump succeeded
rebooting........

So I have one public address at bge0 (configured during jumpstart) and
virtual-ip at bge0:1 and private address at bge1 configured manually after
jumpstart. I have tried booting to the single user mode and install the
bootblk but it did not solve the problem. Then at the single user mode I
wanted to remove the virtual IP but the Virtual IP is not plumbed during boot
to single user mode from CDROM. When booting to SINGLE USER MODE from cdrom,
the system configures the networking using RPC bootparam which I am assuming
is using the jumpstart server for its network configuration that has only the
public IP information for the server poms01s.
Has anyone come across this situation? any kind of help is greatly
appreciated.

Thank you
