perl module installation

Can anyone guide me regarding a perl module installation..
"Spreadsheet::WriteExcel"

I have already installed all the prerequisties, except "Text::Balanced",
Because when i tried to install, it throws the below error..

# perl Makefile.PL
Can't locate *warnings.pm* in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/perl5/5.00503/sun4-solaris /usr/perl5/5.00503
/usr/perl5/site_perl/5.005/sun4-solaris /usr/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at
Makefile.PL line 2.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 2.

Please advice whether it needs a file warnings.pm, if yes from where I can
retrieve it
