In addition to touching /etc/.NFS4inst_state.domain, you'll want to also
have /etc/.sysidconfig.apps and /etc/.sysIDtool.state:
# cat etc/.sysidconfig.apps
/usr/sbin/sysidnfs4
/usr/sbin/sysidpm
/lib/svc/method/sshd
/usr/lib/cc-ccr/bin/eraseCCRRepository
# cat etc/.sysIDtool.state
1 # System previously configured?
