Find out when process dies?

Hi All,

Is there a way to find when a particular process dies & what causes it besides looking /var/adm/messages file? I'm running some scripts & they 've been running for > 12 hrs w/o any problems. When I check the process today & they are gone, and I can't find anything in /var/adm/messages file. Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
