Having some issues getting an NFS mount setup against a Windows 2003 server.
Running Solaris5.8 on the client, attempting to mount with the following
options in vfstab:
machine:/remotedir - /export/nfsmount nfs - yes
-
At point of doing mount machine:/remotedir at the command line, I get the
following error msg:
nfs mount: mount: /export/nfsmount: I/O error
I do have the local mount point directory created in /export:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root other 512 Aug 23 15:37 nfsmount
The connection to the windows box does succeed, but I'm not sure what I'm
missing on the Solaris side. Its been quite some time since I have worked
with a Sun box. I know this is most likely a very trivial error, but any
help is greatly appreciated.
Will summarize to the list at conclusion.
Thanks!
