Hello All,
I need to find a way to automate the process of changing the root
password on several Sun DS 5.2 servers. The requirements are to update a
single file on a central server or run a single script from a central
server that will change the DS root password. Please note this is not to
change the root user password as in /etc/passwd but rather the Directory
Manager password. I also need to figure out how to recover the password
if it is lost or corrupted. Anyone ever automated the process of
changing the Sun One administrator password and/or recovered from the
loss of the administrators password ? Any help would be much appreciated.
