I owe a summary on this.

Various comments:

* Yes, SunPCi really is discontinued.

* Use rdesktop or terminal services instead.

* Don't run Sparc/Solaris on the desktop, use x86
  Solaris/Linux/MacOS/Windows with win4sol, qemu, Parallels, or native
  Windows (respectively) instead for the Windows side.

* Look into win4sol/win4solaris.

* Look into SGD.

* Use SunRay.
