dumping root versus whole disk

Hi fellows,
I'd like to hear a second opinion on differences between dump root (/)
filesystem with ufsdump versus dumping the whole disk
with ufsdump c0t0d0s2.
My aim is to backup the OS with all modifications up to date for disaster
recovery.
I'm aware that in single user mode with all filesystems mounted dumping /
backs up all filesystem mounted under /.
In case disaster strikes I have prepared the vtoc of the disk and then will
label it first, then restore and installboot.
Question is which is more efficient dumping s0 or s2?
Thanks in advance.
