I am running into a disk problem which I have never seen this before. On
my Solaris 8(or 9) system, one of my IBM-DDYS-T18350 18GB disk (cyl
14970 hd 6 sec 399) seen by system format utility as SUN18G disk (cyl
7506 hd 19 sec 248). It will be able to create file system using newfs,
but failed on fsck. I managed to change the type with right geometry,
but failed to save the label. So I am unable to let format utility to
recognize it as IBM disk. I even tried to format the disk without any
problem.
