Hi,
Got a v490 (Solaris 5.9 118558-39) running Veritas Foundation Suite 4.1 plus
Oracle 9.2 which is showing very high kernel usage levels (50% upwards) for
what appears to be relatively little work. The system isn't paging heavily and
network levels are also not significant. Volumes are RAID10 on and EMC CX700
via Emulex LP10Ks. We've got convosync=direct,noatime set on the filesystem
mounts.
Does anyone happen to know if the old bug that surfaced with Sol8 108528-29
and was fixed with patch 117000 may have been resurrected?
