We have a 445 with sun branded emulex FC card in it. The card was
initially detected by the OS and visible. However, we could not reach the
network with the FC card. So, during the process of troubleshooting, we
installed Emulex drivers and removed after being advised by SUN techs.
Now, the OS can see the card, but does not want to attach the driver.
When i do a modinfo
grep fc, it shows the the driver is loaded. But,
sysdef says, the card is not attached to a driver and would not let me
plumb the interface. fcinfo used to show the card before, but now it
cannot see the card..
Any help would be great!
modinfo output...
141 7bb88000 8380 291 1 fcip (SunFC FCIP v20061031-1.47)
sysdef....
pci, instance #4
SUNW,emlxs (driver not attached)
fp (driver not attached)
disk (driver not attached)
Thanks,
Sri
