svc.startd restarting after interruption

I have a peculiar problem on one of my Sunblade workstations that is loaded with
  Solaris 10 OS.
   
  I find the error "svc.startd restarting after interruption" filling up my logs (/var/adm/messages)
  and i have no clue to whats happening.
  This is causing my services such as telnet,ftp & rlogin being unavailable on the
  network. If I check the status of each of these services it shows the status "online".
  If i restart these services through SMF the services are available but after some times htey
  again become unavailable.
   
  The logs also dont provide enough information. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
