Hi Paul,
If you had say hme8 and you wanted to do something with that then
ndd -set /dev/hme instance 8
all subsequent ndd uses after that would refer to that instance.
if you then had qfe4 on the same box then it would be
ndd -set /dev/qfe instance 4
Or that's how I understand it to work anyway.
