Hi Guys,

Usually I am using DTL 4000/8000 and run ufsdump ...is working for years.
We bought new tape drive, I tried to run same scripts i.e

ufsdump ucf$1 /dev/rmt/4 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0
date
ufsdump ucf$1 /dev/rmt/4 /dev/rdsk/c1t3d0s1
date

....

ufsdump ucf$1 /dev/rmt/4 /dev/rdsk/c3t0d0s6 (where $1 is 0--9)

when i am looking via ufsrestore (eith -tf or -if), I can see only last
slice i.e /dev/rdsk/c3t0d0s6) is there any reason why tape drive is not
going to other slice and overwritting again and again or i need to put some
special character to tell the tape to go to next slice.

Really appricaite

Regards

John
